I'm Dara, a master colorist & queen of textured hair. I love making people beautiful and loved. Likewise, I began my career in Detroit, but San Diego has been my home for ages. Furthermore, I feel that my craft is not only about my technical skill as a stylist, but there is also an energy flow that is essential to being creative with clients. Over the years, I have realized that the relationship between a client & a stylist is rooted in a deeper connection based in communication that goes both ways. My clients truly become my extended family.

If I'm not working behind the chair at Honey & Hive Salon, you can find me engaging in my passion of Health & Fitness-running stairs, on the beach or cooking some delicious fuel for my body! Beauty is the whole package!
