My name is Suzanne, I'm a stylist and the owner of Honey & Hive Salon proudly serving great hair experiences in the La Mesa Village. Since being licensed in 1993 (yep, you heard that!) I continue to be in love with my craft, my clients and this community! As the working mother of two beautiful girls, I understand that clients not only expect amazing hair, they crave an experience that leaves them feeling refreshed, heard and confident.

Over the years, I have realized that the relationship between a client & a stylist is rooted in a deeper connection based in communication that goes both ways. She specializes in dry hair cutting techniques, color and Brazilian Blowout services. Furthermore, she is certified in and proudly using Pravana, Schwarzkopf, L'Oréal Serie Expert, Aloxxi and Brazilian Blowout.

When Jessica is not making her clients look more fabulous, her priorities are family, travel and boldly experiencing life!

I'm Karen! I started my career in a nationwide corporate salon group. This experience set up the foundation for my career. After several years, I decided I wanted to focus on my barbering skills, and I sure did! A few years into specializing in barbering, I realized I was missing working in a full-service salon, where the potential for growth is limitless. I am so grateful to have found that at Honey & Hive Salon.

What I love to do best is blonding services, root touch ups, hair cuts, and treatments! I will use my expertise and creativity to ensure you'll leave the salon feeling confident and beautiful.

When not in the salon, I enjoy spending quality time with family, trying new restaurants, and exploring San Diego. I love getting to know my clients on a personal level, whether it's hysterically laughing or the serious heart to hearts. My job is so rewarding because not only do I meet amazing people but I also get the pleasure of helping you feel more like yourself every visit!

I recently joined this amazingly talented team at the beautiful Honey and Hive salon, and I couldn’t be happier! I enjoy hair cutting, blonding, color, styling and treatments. I’m passionate about making every guest feel beautiful and confident when they leave my chair.

I’m a firm believer in having a healthy balance between work and home life. When I’m not in the salon you can catch me enjoying the outdoors with my family!
